BRSHES Edinburgh is running an After Hours Games Night on selected dates between 30 September 2026 and 19 March 2027, at their studio at 197 Gilmore Place. It's a drop-in board games night where you just turn up and get stuck in.
The format is straightforward: the organisers teach a new board game each session, and players split into small groups to pick it up as they go. There's no experience needed, so you don't have to be a seasoned gamer to join in. The night is designed to be social, upbeat and welcoming, and it runs on a BYOB basis, so you bring your own drinks and snacks.
It's the studio's first foray into this format in Edinburgh, launched with a big opening night. If you're not familiar with the place, BRSHES Edinburgh is an independent drop-in craft studio that also runs a gift shop stocked with whimsical, handmade artisan items like greeting cards, crystals, ceramics, jewellery, incense and tarot cards. Alongside its weekly guided workshops for more complex crafts, the studio is available to hire for private functions like hen dos, birthdays and group celebrations. The games night sits alongside that craft side of things, but it's a different kind of evening entirely.
