Monthly informal chat and facilitated activity to work through feelings about the breakdown of ecological and societal systems, hosted by Climate Psychology Alliance Scotland.
Breaking Well is back at The Salisbury Centre on Monday 26 October, from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm. It's a friendly monthly space for people to come together and work through how they feel about the breaking down of ecological and societal systems driven by climate and nature crises. The gatherings run as informal chats and facilitated activities led by group members, so it's less a lecture and more a shared conversation. It's hosted by Climate Psychology Alliance Scotland, with Nadine Andrews as facilitator.
It's part of a monthly series held on Mondays at The Salisbury Centre, a community hub open to anyone who wants to develop their spiritual, psychological and creative life through courses, workshops, lectures, meditations and one-to-one therapeutic work. The venue keeps a rich and financially accessible programme, with opportunities to volunteer in the garden, help host gatherings or join a Subcommittee. Pam Candea describes it: 'There is a feeling when you walk through the door here that this is welcoming, comforting, nourishing, all things good'.
