Relaxed sip-and-paint session hosted by a drag queen, with all painting materials provided and drinks available to purchase.
Boozy Brushes are bringing their Drag Sip and Paint to Le Monde on Saturday 24 October, and it's not a one-off — they're running it every Saturday through the end of November, so if you can't make this one, there are plenty more dates to choose from.
The whole thing is a painting session hosted by a drag queen, and it's aimed squarely at people with absolutely no artistic experience. You don't need to know your way around a palette or even be able to draw a straight line; the host guides the room through the painting step by step, keeping everyone entertained and laughing as you go. Each week brings a different theme, so if you're a regular, you'll end up with a different subject on your canvas every time.
One of the best bits is that you don't have to bring a thing. All the painting materials are provided — canvas, easel, brushes, paint, and an apron to keep your clothes clean — so you can just turn up and get stuck in. Drinks are available to purchase on the day, and you take home your own finished masterpiece at the end.

It runs from 1pm to 3pm, so it's a proper Saturday afternoon thing rather than a late one. Tickets are between £24 and £28, and beyond the 24th, you'll find them on Saturdays 31 October, 7, 14, 21, and 28 November. The venue is Le Monde Hotel, 16 George Street, Edinburgh New Town EH2 2PF.
