Thirteen Sins Cabaret

Thirteen Sins is the debut show from Midnight Alt Events, taking place at the Dirty Martini Lounge in Le Monde Hotel on Friday 13 November. It's a cabaret night that pulls together burlesque, gothic drag, sideshow and alternative artistry, all under one roof on George Street. The venue itself is the lounge's gothic saloon, and the night doesn't stop when the main show does: there's an afterparty that runs until midnight.

Beyond the stage, the evening has a market side to it. There'll be a collection of dark and unusual artisans on hand, alongside tarot readings and artisanal bling, so it's as much about browsing as it is about watching. If you're coming with a group or just fancy a bit of shopping before the show starts, that's a good reason to arrive early.

Practicalities: the Dirty Martini Lounge is at 16 George Street, EH2 2PF. It's accessible via six steps, with a lift inside. Doors open at 8:00 PM, the show runs from 9:00 to 11:00 PM, and the afterparty goes from 11:00 PM until midnight. General admission is £20, and VIP is £30 for a front-row spot.
