Relaxed drag-hosted sip and paint session where a drag queen guides guests through painting a canvas, with drinks available to purchase.
Boozy Brushes are bringing their Drag Sip and Paint to Le Monde on Sunday 7 November, part of a wider run of sessions across Edinburgh. It's a drag-themed painting class hosted by a drag queen, and it's built for everyone, regardless of whether you've ever touched a paintbrush in your life. You don't need any artistic experience to get involved.
The format is straightforward: the drag queen host guides you through the painting step by step, keeping things upbeat and keeping the room laughing while you work. If you're happy following along, that's the way to go, but you're also welcome to ditch the instructions and do your own thing entirely. Either way, you take home your own finished piece at the end. All the kit is provided — canvas, easel, brushes, paint, and an apron to keep things tidy — so you don't need to bring a thing.
Because it's a social setup, drinks are available to buy on the day, so it works as much as a catch-up with friends as it does a painting class. The session runs from 1pm to 3pm, and tickets are between £24 and £28.

If you can't make the 7th, there are plenty of other dates to choose from. The run includes 24 and 31 October, and then weekly sessions on 31 October, 7, 14, 21, and 28 November, all from 1pm to 3pm at Le Monde, 16 George Street, Edinburgh New Town EH2 2PF.
