Stand-up show 'Peach Fuzz' by Taskmaster star Ania Magliano at Monkey Barrel Comedy in Edinburgh.
Ania Magliano brings her show Peach Fuzz to Monkey Barrel Comedy on Saturday 24 October, part of a nationwide tour. It's a matinee, so if you're not one for a late one, this fits in well before the evening kicks off.
Magliano is fresh from starring in the latest series of Taskmaster, and she's no stranger to the bigger stages: she's performed on Live At The Apollo and her previous work earned her an Edinburgh Comedy Awards Best Show nomination. She's opened for Ed Gamble, Marc Maron and Catherine Cohen, and writes for Amelia Dimoldenberg's Chicken Shop Date, so there's a fair bit of credit behind her before she steps on stage here.
As for the show itself, Peach Fuzz is built from jokes, confessions and the occasional unhinged observation. Much of it comes from the quirks of her own body, the legend that is Eve, and her newly discovered boundaries. If you've heard her on the Off Menu podcast, you'll know her choices there are widely regarded as the worst of all time — that same kind of sensibility runs through the set.

It's a single-act bill, so it's just Magliano on stage for the duration. The show runs at Monkey Barrel Comedy, 9-12 Blair Street in Edinburgh Old Town, EH1 1QR, starting at 16:30 on Saturday 24 October.
