Airospace

Airospace plays Sneaky Pete's on Friday 26 March, bringing his multidimensional raps to the Old Town. It's a single-name bill, so the night centres entirely on him.

If you're not familiar with the name, it helps to know that Airospace works across a few different disciplines. He's a musician and a photographer as well as a rapper, and he describes his work as being for people still living in the BPM of sensitivity. That's a fairly specific way of framing it, and it gives you a sense of where he's coming from: the raps are the focus, but they sit within a wider creative practice that touches on music and photography.

Sneaky Pete's is tucked away in Edinburgh's Old Town, and on the night, Airospace will be the sole act on the bill. The set is built around his raps, which he describes as multidimensional — a term that suggests there's more going on than just a voice over a beat. Given his background as a musician and photographer, it's a performance that draws on more than one way of working.

It's a single-artist night, so the focus stays on Airospace from start to finish. He'll be at Sneaky Pete's on Friday 26 March, in the Old Town.
