HBO and Netflix stand-up star Ahir Shah brings his new hour 'Golden' to Monkey Barrel Comedy in Edinburgh.
Ahir Shah is playing Monkey Barrel Comedy on Friday 24 September 2027, with his new hour Golden as part of a wider UK tour. If you've seen him on Netflix or HBO, this is the live version of that—a full hour of new material on stage.
It's a big follow-up to his previous show, Ends, which won the Edinburgh Comedy Award for Best Show, sold out worldwide and was recorded as a comedy special for Netflix. His other special, Dots, aired on HBO, so by the time Golden hits the stage, he's already got two specials under his belt. Between the two, he's built a reputation as one of the most consistent stand-ups working right now.
Beyond the specials, he's a regular on the panel circuit. You'll recognise him from Mock The Week, Have I Got News For You, QI, Live at the Apollo, The Last Leg, The Mash Report, Frankie Boyle's New World Order and The Now Show. He's also done a bit of acting, with roles in Jurassic World 3 and Foundation on Apple TV.
