Aerial yoga workshop led by Conscious Yoga using an aerial hammock to combine flowing movement with deep, supported stretching.
Conscious Yoga are running an aerial yoga workshop at The Crags Centre on Saturday 31 October, from 11:00 to 12:30, with doors opening at 10:50. The whole thing works around an aerial hammock, which you use to combine gentle flowing movement with deep, supported stretching. It's designed to help you build strength and release tension, and leave feeling relaxed and empowered, all in a supportive environment where everyone moves at their own pace.
There's no previous yoga or aerial experience needed. It suits anyone with a basic level of fitness, a standard range of movement, or some vinyasa or hatha yoga experience, and progression options are offered throughout, so you can work at your own level. You'll move through dynamic sequences, core and upper body exercises, and aerial hammock poses, with the aim of building strength and confidence.
