Reiki and sound healing session in a low aerial hammock, run by Conscious Yoga, suitable for most bodies.
Conscious Yoga are running an Aerial Reiki Sound Bath at The Crags Centre on Saturday 31 October, from 5:45 to 6:45pm. The main difference between this and a standard sound bath is the setup: instead of lying on a mat on the floor, you're in a low aerial hammock. From there, Reiki and sound healing drift across the room, carried by live sound and guided meditation.
There's no physical practice involved, so it's an easy entry point if you've never done a sound bath before, or if you're feeling low on energy and just want to lie still for an hour. It's open to anyone aged 16 and over, though it isn't suitable during pregnancy.

The session sits in a quiet corner of Edinburgh's alternative wellness scene, which the local guide describes as a tranquil escape built on the vibrations of bowls, gongs and tuning forks, usually staged in basement clubs, pub function rooms or arts centres. This one is at The Crags Centre, 10 Bowmont Place, EH8 9RY, with doors opening at 5:35pm. Tickets are £20.76 and there's free parking on site.
