2026 BritRock Film Tour Gala Screening

The 2026 BritRock Film Tour is coming to Edinburgh on Tuesday 1 December, with a gala screening at the Pleasance Lecture Theatre. It's the tour's gala night, and the main feature is the BritRock Film Tour itself, a look at the British rock scene from the past year.

If you've been following the UK's rock and alternative scene over the last twelve months, this is where it gets pulled together into one screen. The film works as a survey of the bands and records that have defined the year, so it's as much about the wider scene as it is about any one act. It's a gala screening, which means it's the premiere of the tour's main feature rather than a one-off showing.

The venue is the Pleasance Lecture Theatre, part of the Pleasance Theatre at 60 Pleasance, EH8 9TJ. It's right in the heart of the city, easy enough to get to from the centre. The screening runs from 7:15 PM to 10:30 PM, so it's a good length of an evening without running too late into the night.

Tickets are on Eventbrite, and since it's a gala screening, it's worth getting yours sorted in advance. The session starts at 19:15 and wraps up by 22:30, giving you plenty of time to head home or on to a drink afterwards.
