The Damned, punk rock pioneers from the 1970s, perform live at the Granada Theater as part of their Final Damnation tour.
The Damned are playing the Granada Theater on Thursday, November 5, as part of their Final Damnation tour. They're punk rock pioneers from the 1970s, and this is a full-band night on the Lower Greenville side of town.
They aren't the only ones on the bill. The Flamin' Groovies and The Courettes are opening, so it's a three-band lineup rather than a single headliner. The Damned have been around since the first wave of UK punk, and they're still touring under their own name, which is a fair bit more than you can say for most of that era's survivors.
The show is all ages, so it's a night you can bring kids to if you're into that. The Granada is at 3524 Greenville Ave, right in the heart of Lower Greenville, which makes it easy to grab dinner or a drink nearby before you head in.

Doors open at 6 PM, and the music starts at 7 PM. If you're planning to catch the openers, getting there closer to six is your best bet. The Damned, the Flamin' Groovies, and The Courettes all share the same bill on Thursday, November 5, at the Granada Theater.
