Pete Yorn performs a solo acoustic concert marking the 25th anniversary of his 2001 debut album, musicforthemorningafter.
Pete Yorn plays The Kessler on Saturday, October 24, as part of a North American tour running through the fall of 2026 and winter of 2027. It's a solo acoustic set, and the whole night is built around the 25th anniversary of musicforthemorningafter, the Columbia Records debut he released in 2001 when he was still a teenager. That record went Platinum and earned him a reputation as one of the best songwriters of his generation—SPIN described it as mixing the blue-collar introspection of Bruce Springsteen with the deadpan stream-of-consciousness of Lou Reed and the jangling guitar-pop of The Smiths.
Since then, Yorn has released eight more solo albums and landed nine Top Ten hits at AAA radio. He's worked with Frank Black, Peter Buck, Liz Phair, and Scarlett Johansson, whose 2009 duet "Break Up" went Platinum in France. He's appeared on Letterman, Fallon, Kimmel, and Ellen, played Coachella, Bonnaroo, Glastonbury, and Austin City Limits, and made his big-screen debut in Martin Scorsese's Killers of the Flower Moon (2023). His latest album, All The Beauty, recorded with Jackson Phillips of Day Wave, is a meditation on growth, change, and finding peace in the present.
