Singer-songwriter Foy Vance performs live at the Granada Theater, celebrating his albums The Wake and IF, with special guests Bonnie Bishop and Ryan McMullan.
Foy Vance plays the Granada Theater on Saturday, April 3, 2027, with Bonnie Bishop and Ryan McMullan opening. Vance is a singer-songwriter from Bangor, Northern Ireland, and this show is built around two specific records. One is The Wake, the seventh and final installment in a cycle of albums he started after his father's sudden death in 1999. The other is IF, his eighth album, produced by Anderson East. IF pulls from more than a hundred songs Vance had kept guarded for 27 years, reimagined and featuring co-writes with Lori McKenna, Natalie Hemby, Gabe Simon, and Ross Copperman.
If you're coming to this as a first-timer, it helps to know where he's been. His international breakthrough came in 2013 with Joy of Nothing, which featured guest spots from Bonnie Raitt and Ed Sheeran. In 2016, he put out The Wild Swan, executive-produced by Elton John. Between those and the newer material, the set should pull from a fair stretch of his catalog.
