A Grateful Dead tribute concert by the band Forgotten Space to celebrate their 20th anniversary at the Granada Theater.
Forgotten Space play the Granada Theater on Friday, October 9, for a Grateful Dead tribute that doubles as a 20th anniversary celebration for the venue. The band is Jerry Saracini, Bob McConville, Will Hodges, Garrett Deloian, Nick Sandoval, and Katie Chapman. It's an all-ages show.
The anniversary isn't for the band, though. The Granada has been owned by Julia and the author since 2004, and this show marks two decades under their tenure. To mark the milestone, they've put in a brand-new, state-of-the-art sound system, which they describe as twice as powerful as the original 2004 rig, with additional speaker fills running along the front of the room. It's a significant upgrade for a room that's seen a lot of music over the last twenty years, and this is one of the first shows to run it.
