Concert by Brian Fallon, frontman of The Gaslight Anthem, at the Trees venue in Dallas.
Brian Fallon plays Trees on Wednesday, October 7, with Tim Barry opening. Fallon is the founding member and frontman of The Gaslight Anthem, and he's also put out four solo albums on his own.
If you've followed him since the early days, you know the Gaslight Anthem sound—that New Jersey heartland rock that's always felt a bit like a love letter to Bruce Springsteen. Fallon has spent nearly three decades building a body of work around insistent imagery, defiant romanticism, and a particular kind of emotional acuity. The solo records let him lean into the songwriting side of things, and this show will likely draw from both his band work and his solo catalog.
The Gaslight Anthem returned from a long hiatus in 2023 with History Books, their sixth full-length album and first new studio LP in nine years. That record kicked off a worldwide tour, and this Dallas date is part of the momentum that followed. It's a good time to catch him, especially if you've been waiting for the band to come back from that break.
