The deathcore band Upon A Burning Body performs live at the Trees venue in Dallas.
Upon A Burning Body play Trees on Saturday, December 5, as part of their annual home-state tour. The San Antonio deathcore quintet has been around since the late 2000s, and this Dallas date is one of the stops on their Everything's Heavier in Texas run, which they describe as a celebration of heavy music and Texas pride. It's a tradition they bring back to their own backyard every year.
They signed with Sumerian Records and put out their debut, The World Is Ours, in 2010. Since then, they've added Red. White. Green. (2012), the Will Putney-produced The World Is My Enemy Now (2014), Straight From The Barrio (2016), and Southern Hostility to the list. That's five records to pull from, and the set usually reaches back across them.
