Rock performance by letdown. with special guests Luchiano and Sikarus at the Trees venue in Dallas.
letdown. plays Trees on Friday, December 4, with luchiano and Sikarus opening. The project is the work of Blake Coddington, a Texas-born, Nashville-based rocker, singer, and multi-instrumentalist who launched it in 2020 as an outlet for his own mental health struggles. He pairs powerful vocals and personal lyrics with guitar hooks and drum beats, and he's cited therapy as his motivation. Since then, the music has grown quickly online, amassing more than 500,000 TikTok followers, over 265,000 monthly Spotify listeners, and hundreds of millions of streams.
Coddington first released music in 2020, drawing on personal demons for his 2023 debut EP, Crying In The Shower. He's now releasing a debut album, with the upbeat, hook-packed "Go To Hell" described as his most reactive release to date. He performs as a Big Loud Rock artist.
