Concert by Blondshell, the alternative rock project of Sabrina Teitelbaum, performing tracks from her album 'Violins' on the Scaring Strangers Tour.
Blondshell plays the Granada Theater on Tuesday, May 25, 2027, as part of the Scaring Strangers Tour, presented by Mullen & Mullen. Blondshell is the project of Sabrina Teitelbaum, a Los Angeles artist whose sound sits at the crossroads of alternative, grunge, and indie rock. The show is open to all ages.
Teitelbaum's third album, Violins, arrived in September and pushes beyond the disastrous romance that shaped her earlier songs, turning instead toward friendship, forgiveness, violence, tenderness, and what deserves to stay in your life. Produced again with Yves Rothman, the record feels more physical than anything she's made before, with songs recorded to leave room for the band to move inside them. "Heart Has To Work So Hard" turns toward the wreckage of friendship rather than romance, "Lucky" makes insomnia sound almost weightless, and the title track sets violence and gentleness side by side. The project is increasingly becoming a proper rock band in public, and $1 from every ticket sold goes to The Ally Coalition's work supporting homeless and at-risk LGBTQ youth.
