An intimate solo performance by Andrew McMahon accompanied only by his piano at The Kessler Theater.
Andrew McMahon plays The Kessler Theater on Sunday, November 8, as part of an 18-date intimate solo tour. The set is just him and his piano, no band behind him.
If you've followed his work, you know he's the singer, songwriter, and frontman behind three different projects: Something Corporate, Jack's Mannequin, and Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness. This tour comes on the heels of his 'Three Pianos' shows in August, where he celebrated the different chapters of his career alongside bandmates from each of those projects. This time, though, he's on his own. He says he's been craving the intimacy of small rooms and the spontaneity of performing solo, and that's exactly what this run is built around.
Because he's playing without a band, the focus stays on the songs and the piano. It's a stripped-back way to hear the material he's written across those different eras, and it puts the songwriting front and center. The Dallas date is one of 18 stops on the tour, so it's a relatively short run.

On the ticketing side, McMahon has partnered with CashorTrade, a fan- and artist-friendly platform that lets people transfer and sell tickets at face value. It's a good thing to keep in mind if you're looking for tickets or need to pass yours along. The show is at The Kessler Theater on Sunday, November 8.
