Over-21s bass music night with wonky and dubstep producer WonkyWilla and DJ Jason Leech at Otherworld.
WonkyWilla plays Otherworld on Saturday, November 14, with Jason Leech on the bill as well. The night is presented by Disco Presents and My Best Friends Party, and it's for over-21s only.
WonkyWilla is the stage name of Nicholas Olivieri, a 22-year-old Florida-based bass music producer. He works in the wubs- and dub-driven side of the scene, and his sound has been showcased by some of the biggest names in bass music, including Barclay Crenshaw, Cannabliss, Tvboo, Ahee, Zingara, A Hundred Drums, and Maddy O'Neal. He's shared stages with TvBoo, Ahee, Champagne Drip, Super Future, Zingara, and Manic Focus.
His tracks have built him a dedicated following over the last two years. Orgasmic has over 3 million streams, and Wook Dancer is close to half a million. He also put out dubstep remixes of Fergee's London Bridge, which have over 250,000 streams. If you're coming from the streaming side, those are the records that have put him on the map.
