Over-21s Halloween party with live music from Ammo Avenue and Ope Collective, a costume contest and activities inside Otherworld's Ectoplasm exhibit.
Ammo Avenue and Ope Collective head up the Ectoplasm Halloween party at Otherworld on Saturday, October 31. It's a full night of music and a costume contest, and the lineup fills out with Fear & Lowe, Pocket Presence (Govan Jones & Dubyah), and Benton and Karlyn.
What makes this one a bit different from a standard club night is how it uses the space. The party takes over Otherworld's immersive exhibit, with the main stage sitting centrally inside the exhibit area. Most of the venue stays open for the night—only two of the more than 40 rooms are closed—so you can wander through the exhibit while the music is going. If you've never been to Otherworld, it's worth keeping one thing in mind: the party ticket only covers the event itself, not daytime admission. If you want to experience the full exhibit and its puzzles, you'll need to buy a separate daytime ticket.
Beyond the music, there's a costume contest running throughout the night, so it's a good excuse to actually dress up. The whole thing is 21+, and you'll need a valid photo ID to get in.
