Weekly 18+ singing competition in which competitors battle through lip-sync challenges until two finalists face off for the crown.
Lipsync Mania is back at District West on Tuesday, October 27, as part of a weekly competition that runs every Tuesday from October 13 through November 17. The show goes from 9 PM to 11:30 PM, and this particular night is the third installment of the series.
If you're not familiar with how it works, Lipsync Mania is District West's weekly singing competition, run as a series of Tuesday nights. Competitors battle through a sequence of challenges that change from week to week: team smackdowns, power ballads, genre gauntlets, and classic hits. Only the strongest survive each round, and as the weeks go by, the field narrows until two finalists face off in a final showdown for the crown.
Because it's a competition, the nights build on each other. The early weeks are about surviving the cuts, and by the time you get to the later dates, the stakes get higher. The whole thing runs through mid-November, so if you start following it now, you'll see the competitors go from the first challenges through to the final showdown.
