Winterfair

Winterfair returns to the Ohio Expo Center from Friday, December 4, through Sunday, December 6, 2026. It's Central Ohio's premier fine arts and crafts show, and this year it brings together 350 artists under one roof. You'll find jewelry, ceramics, paintings, and photography, so there's plenty to look at whether you're hunting for a specific piece or just browsing.

The fair is run by Ohio Designer Craftsmen, a nonprofit that supports professional artists and runs programs and exhibitions at the Ohio Craft Museum. Admission proceeds go back to the organization. To exhibit, artists have to be members of Ohio Designer Craftsmen, and the show hands out six awards—including Awards for Excellence and Best Booth Design—chosen by an independent juror. Winners get an automatic invitation back to the following year's show without having to go through the jury again.

Winterfair has been bringing together artists, collectors, and holiday shoppers for five decades now, and it still draws a craft-buying audience of more than 15,000 people from as far as Cleveland and Indianapolis. It's consistently landed in the Top 10 of Sunshine Artist's ranking of the Top 100 craft shows, which gives you a sense of the scale and the quality of the work on display.

You'll find it in the Bricker Building at the Ohio Expo Center, 717 E. 17th Ave., Columbus, OH 43212. It runs Friday, December 4, and Saturday, December 5, from 10 AM to 7 PM, and Sunday, December 6, from 11 AM to 4 PM. Admission is $8, and children 12 and under are free. One ticket is valid for all three days, so you can spread your visit across the weekend. If you're a member of Ohio Designer Craftsmen, it's $2, and $6 tickets are available at the Ohio Craft Museum.
