Paint and Sip: A Court of Dreams

Pinot's Palette Short North is hosting a A Court of Thorns and Roses paint and sip session on Thursday, October 22, from 7 PM to 9 PM. The painting you'll be working on is called A Court of Dreams, and it's built around the fae magic, romance, and intrigue of the series, depicting two lovers gazing into the night sky. The whole evening is framed as part of the countdown to the release of Book 6, so if you've been following the series, this is one of those things to do while you wait.

Costumes are a big part of the night. You're encouraged to dress as your favorite High Fae, Night Court member, or Illyrian warrior, and the studio says costumes are strongly encouraged, so it's a good excuse to pull out the wings or the leather. There's also trivia mixed in, so you can talk through the books while you paint.

If you want to make a full evening of it, there's a DIY Candle Experience you can add for $25. You'll arrive 30 minutes early to make a custom-scented, all-natural soy candle that cures while you paint, so you'll leave with both the painting and the candle. Pinot's Palette Short North is an upscale paint and sip studio in the heart of the Short North, and they handle corporate parties, date nights, girls' nights out, family fun, and fundraisers. No experience is required, and all the supplies are included in the price.
