Monthly open-air evening of local food, live music and entertainment from small businesses along North Fourth Street in Italian Village.
October Fourth Street Fridays returns to North Fourth Street in Italian Village on Friday, October 23, from 6 PM to 10 PM. It's one of the Short North's signature community events: a monthly open-air evening run by the small businesses along North Fourth Street, right in the heart of Italian Village. The Short North Alliance organizes it with support from the Fifth Avenue and Fourth Street Special Improvement District, and it runs rain or shine. It's kid-friendly, too, so you can bring the whole family along.
The music is spread across a few different spots. Local indie artist FAYE plays at Seventh Son Brewing from 6 PM to 8 PM, and Taylor Davis is set up at the Goremade Pizza Patio. Later in the evening, DJ Koty takes over the rooftop patio at Budd Dairy Food Hall for Rooftop Vibes, running from 8 PM to midnight. Between the three, you've got a full evening of live music that stretches from the early evening into the late night.
There's a game to play while you're out, too. It's called 'Four Square': you collect stickers by visiting four or more participating businesses along the street, then drop your completed card at Budd Dairy Food Hall by 9 PM to enter a prize pack of items from local shops. It's a good excuse to wander into a few places you might otherwise walk past.
