Nightmare on Town St. is back at Land-Grant Brewing Company this October, when the taproom transforms into a Halloween bar for a ten-day run. It's a tradition Land-Grant brings back every year, and this time it runs daily from Thursday, October 22, through Sunday, November 1, from 3 PM to 10 PM.
The whole point of the takeover is that the taproom changes. They bring in bigger and bolder Halloween decor than usual, an expanded lineup of creepy cocktails, and spooky surprises tucked throughout the space. It's less of a single event and more of a destination that stays open for a good stretch of the season, so you can drop in whenever you're in the neighborhood rather than having to clear a specific night.
If you're looking for something to do on a Tuesday, the Beer Garden adds another layer. They host Spooky Tuesdays, with Halloween movies and themed trivia every Tuesday night during the run. It's a separate thing from the main bar takeover, so you can pair a movie night with a visit to the taproom.
