Weekly Monday talk about Columbus history followed by a mocktail at the Columbus Metropolitan Library.
Mocktail Monday - Ohio Stories is at the Main Library on Monday, October 19, from 6 PM to 7 PM. It's one of the select Monday nights the library sets aside for this, so it's not a weekly thing you can just roll into whenever you feel like it. The focus for this session is Ohio Stories, which is exactly what it sounds like: a look at the history of Columbus and the state around it.
The evening is built around two things happening at once. You'll spend the hour learning about Columbus history, and while you're at it, you'll share a mocktail with the other people in the room. It's a low-key way to spend a Monday night—pick up some local lore and have a drink that doesn't come with a hangover the next morning. If you've lived here a while and realized you don't actually know much about how the city came together, this is a good place to start.
Every week we pick 🏆 the 5 best 🏆 things to do in Columbus and send them to your inbox. Just one weekly email, no spam.

It's held in Meeting Room 3B of the Columbus Metropolitan Library's Main Library, at 96 South Grant Avenue in downtown Columbus. That's the big central branch, so it's easy to find if you've been to the library before. The whole thing runs from 6 PM to 7 PM, an hour that fits right between the workday and whatever you've got going on at home.
