Finale concert of the High School Honor String Orchestra Weekend, with the Scarlet and Gray orchestras, at Weigel Hall on the Ohio State University campus.
The High School Honor String Orchestra takes the stage at Weigel Auditorium on Sunday, October 25, for their finale concert. It's the closing performance of the High School Honor String Orchestra Weekend, and the program features the Scarlet and Gray orchestras.
If you're not familiar with the venue, Weigel Auditorium is inside Weigel Hall at 1866 College Rd N, part of The Ohio State University School of Music. It's the school's primary performance space in the university district, and it handles a wide range of ensembles—wind symphonies, jazz bands, orchestras, and choirs all cycle through here. It's also where the undergraduate and graduate students do most of their performing, so it's a hub for the school's student music.
This particular concert falls under the school's student ensemble series, and since it's the finale of the honor string weekend, it's the culmination of the whole event. The Scarlet and Gray orchestras are the ones you'll hear, and the performance is free and open to the public, so you don't need a ticket to get in.
