Four-course dinner with autumn flavors paired with beer at the Columbus Brewing Company Beer Hall.
Columbus Brewing Company is hosting a Harvest Beer Dinner at its Beer Hall on Thursday, November 12, from 6:30 to 8:30 PM. It's a four-course dinner built around autumn flavors, with each course paired with a beer from their taps.
The Beer Hall itself is worth a look if you haven't spent much time there. It's a 13,000-square-foot room inside a historic landmark in Franklin Park, built in the late 1800s. It started as a mechanic's shop that repaired the trolleys running down Broad Street—the kind of place that helped shape the city's growth—and it was preserved as a landmark before becoming a taproom and event space. The private event area still has the original brick walls, wood ceilings, and locally crafted tables and chairs.
On a regular night, the hall pours 24 draft taps and serves globally inspired food. If you're in the neighborhood during the week, Happy Hour runs Monday through Thursday from 3 to 5 PM, with $5 pints of more than 20 beers on tap. The Harvest Beer Dinner is a different kind of visit: a set menu of four courses paired with beer, rather than ordering a few rounds and picking from the full menu.
