Unstructured, self-guided painting session with step-by-step projects, drinks from the bar and seating for friends at Pinot's Palette Short North.
Pinot's Palette is hosting a DIY Pop in and Paint session on Friday, November 13, from 2 PM to 5 PM at their Short North studio. It's an unstructured, self-guided afternoon, so there's no set start time or formal class to follow. You just show up when you like and paint at your own pace.
The studio puts out a range of paintings with written step-by-step instructions, but you're free to paint whatever catches your fancy instead. It's pitched as a low-stress way to unwind with a drink from the bar in a light, music-filled room with seating for friends. That makes it work as a girls' afternoon, a creative date, or a family outing just as much as a solo escape. There's no age restriction, and the studio welcomes first-time painters alongside experienced artists, so you don't need any background in art to get into it.
Every Pinot's Palette studio is owned and operated by local small-business owners, and the Short North location sits in the heart of the arts district at 691 North High Street, Suite 101, within a few minutes' walk of the Joseph, Hub, and E Goodale garages.
