Cocktails at the Conservatory: Spirits & Spells

Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens is hosting Cocktails at the Conservatory: Spirits & Spells on Thursday, October 29, from 5:30 PM to 9:30 PM. It's an adults-only evening, so no kids this time around—the venue describes it as a child-free escape for friends and date nights. The whole Conservatory opens after hours, which means you can wander through the Pumpkins Aglow display while you're there.

This is part of the Cocktails at the Conservatory series, a Thursday-night run of after-hours events at the Conservatory. Each one is built around a different theme and pairs a rotating cast of local drink vendors with live music. The series has run through several seasons, with themed nights like Hearts and High Stakes, a Roaring 20s revival of prohibition-inspired cocktails and live jazz; A Night at the Races, a Kentucky Derby-inspired pre-party; Summer of Sangria; and Sleigh Bell Sips, holiday cocktails set inside the Conservatory Aglow light display. This edition, Spirits & Spells, keeps that same format: local drinks, live music, and a theme to tie it together.

On the drink side, you'll find cocktails from Leather & Oak Spirits, The Long Drink, Middle West Spirits, and Noble Cut Distillery. For food, there'll be spreads from Broke Johnny, Red Head Chef, and Taquitos. The music and entertainment are handled by The Lycan Bite and True Crime Garage. Since the entire Conservatory is open, you can move between the drinks and the Pumpkins Aglow display throughout the night.

Tickets are $35, or $30 for members. It runs from 5:30 PM to 9:30 PM at The Conservatory, 1777 East Broad Street, and because it's all indoors, the weather won't change anything.
