A secret lineup of stand-up comics with surprise pop-ins and a full bar, a 21+ Halloween night out at The Walrus.
The Attic Comedy Club is bringing its Popup Comedy Jam to The Walrus on Saturday, October 31, for a Halloween edition. The show is billed as the best secret comedy show in Columbus, and the secret is the whole point: they don't announce the lineup in advance. You'll get a mix of headliners and local favorites, with surprise pop-ins and the occasional guest trading the stage throughout the night. Not knowing exactly who's going to step up to the mic is the draw.
It's a fast-moving, anything-can-happen showcase in a 90-seat room, and because the space is small, every seat is close enough to feel like part of the show. The Attic pitches it as a date night or a Halloween night out, and costumes are welcome. It's 21 and over only, so you'll need a valid ID to get in. There's a full bar and a two-drink minimum.

Doors open at 6:30 PM, the show starts at 7 PM, and it wraps around 8:30 PM, so you're looking at about an hour and a half of stand-up. General admission is $18.99, and stage-side seating is $22.99, with tickets costing $5 more if you wait until the door. The Walrus is at 143 E Main St in downtown Columbus.
