Citizenship Class - US Together

US Together is running a free citizenship class for adults preparing to become naturalized citizens, and it's held at the Karl Road - Learning Lab in Columbus. The sessions run weekly, so it's not a one-off thing you have to rush to—it's a regular class you can stick with over time.

Over the course of the sessions, the class works through US history, government, and civics, which are the core subjects you'll need for the naturalization test. It's not just about reading through a textbook, either; the program includes specific preparation for the naturalization interview itself, so you can get a feel for what to expect when you're actually sitting across from an officer.

If you know someone who's working toward their citizenship, this is a practical way to get the study hours in with a group rather than trying to tackle it all on your own. Because it's a weekly thing, it's designed for people who can commit to coming back session after session and building their knowledge step by step.

The class meets on Thursday, October 22, from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Karl Road - Learning Lab, part of the Columbus Metropolitan Library at 5590 Karl Road, Columbus, OH 43229. It's free, and you register for your spot in branch.
