A week-long event featuring special-priced smashburgers, fries, and beer at various restaurants in Columbus, presented by 614 Media Group and benefiting NC4K.
FYR Short North is joining Burger & Beer Week starting Tuesday, October 20, as part of the citywide event presented by 614 Media Group. The week runs through Saturday, October 24, and it's a big one this year: FYR is one of over 40 participating spots across Columbus, including 17 Arrows, Agave & Rye, Bareburger, Beer Barrel Pizza & Grill, Bellawood Farm, Black Swan Bar & Grill, Bru Burger Bar, ClusterTruck, Cut132, Ethyl & Tank, Fado Irish Pub & Restaurant, FlipSide, Forbidden Root, Fourth Street, Gallo's Pizza Kitchen & Bar, Grandview Cafe, Hangry City, Hubbard Grille, India Oak, Johnnie's Tavern, Lincoln Social, MacKenzie River, Matt & Tony's Kitchen & Tavern, Middle West Spirits/Service Bar, MTM Tavern & Steakhouse, Parlay Sporting Club & Kitchen, Pat and Gracie's, PBR Cowboy Bar + Smokehouse, Rail Craft Kitchen & Bar, Ritzy's, Rusty Bucket, Smash Shack Burger Company, SoCal Kitchen + Bar, SŌW Plated, SŌW To Go, Tupelo Honey, Understory, Wolf's Ridge Brewing, Wolf's Ridge Brewing at Worthington Inn, and World of Beer - Easton.
FYR is a farm-to-table spot in the Short North, recently reimagined by Executive Chef Zach Warn. He's built the menu around live-fire cooking and Ohio's agricultural heritage, so you'll find open-flame cuisine, chef-led tastings, and tableside service. The kitchen also runs one of the state's best dry-aged beef programs, which is a good thing to keep in mind when you're looking at a burger menu. The concept was brought to Columbus by Argentinian chef Sebastian La Rocca, who left in March 2025 with the menu in place. If you're in the mood for a drink with a view, the rooftop bar, Stories on High, looks out over the city skyline.

For the week, FYR is running a few specials: the FYR Smashburger is $12, beef fat fries are $6, and a 614 Lager is $6. The whole event benefits NC4K (Nellie's Champions for Kids), which provides financial assistance, emotional support, and opportunities for play and connection to children, teens, and families navigating a childhood cancer diagnosis, under the vision that no child fights cancer alone.
