Christmas breakfast with pancakes and a visit to Santa at the Wells Barn of the Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens.
Breakfast with Santa returns to the Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens on December 19 and 20, 2026. It's a pancake breakfast and a visit with Santa, held in the Wells Barn on the Conservatory grounds. Both days run from 8 AM to 12 PM, so you can pick whichever morning works best for your family.
If you haven't spent much time there, the Conservatory is one of Ohio's premier botanical gardens, sitting on 13 acres east of Franklin Park, about two miles from downtown Columbus. The grounds bring together botanical biomes, gardens, art installations, and exhibitions—among them the Chihuly Collection, the Scotts Miracle-Gro Foundation Children's Garden, and the Dorothy M. Davis Showhouse with its bonsai collection. Right next door, the Scotts Miracle-Gro Company Community Garden Campus adds another four acres of public garden, with an apiary, a rose pavilion, a berry house, and 40 community garden plots, all open to everyone free of charge. The Conservatory also runs after-hours events like Chihuly Nights and Conservatory Aglow, and offers free community admission on the first Sunday of each month for Franklin County and Columbus residents.

One thing to keep in mind: a reservation for breakfast doesn't include admission to the Conservatory, so if you want to wander through the biomes and gardens after you've eaten, you'll need a separate ticket for that. The breakfast itself is priced by age and membership status. For members, it's $24 per adult (13+), $16 per child (3-12), and free for children under 2. Non-member prices are $26 per adult, $18 per child (3-12), and free for children under 2. Both days run from 8 AM to 12 PM.
