Halloween immersive cocktail pop-up by bartenders Erin Hayes and Kelsey Ramage, with themed drinks and macabre decor at The Citizens Trust.
Black Lagoon is taking over The Citizens Trust downtown for the Halloween season, turning the space into a haunt of cinematic lighting and macabre decor. It's an immersive cocktail pop-up that runs through November 1, so you've got a few weeks to catch it if you're out and about in the city this October.
Behind the bar are award-winning bartenders Erin Hayes and Kelsey Ramage, who put together the themed menu. There are a few specific drinks to look for: Abyssa's Obsession and Demon Dance handle the spirited side of things, and Bad Omen is a spirit-free spritz if you're keeping it non-alcoholic. The whole setup is built around the Halloween vibe, with the lighting and decor doing a lot of the heavy lifting to set the mood.
If you're leaning into the season, costumes are welcome, though they aren't required—you can just show up as you are and still fit in. It's the kind of spot that works as a quick stop on a night out or a place to settle in for a few rounds with friends. Since it's a pop-up and not a permanent fixture, it only stays through November 1, so it's worth keeping the date in mind if you want to make it happen.
