Description

Disney's Aladdin JR. comes to The Gate Arts and Community Centre in Cardiff on Wednesday 28 October, with the curtain going up at 6:30pm. It's presented by Forge Drama, the same company that brought Shrek - The Musical JR. to the stage back in 2025, so if you caught that one, you'll recognise the name behind this production.

It's the story you know: Aladdin and his friends stumble across a magical lamp and meet the all-powerful Genie, with Aladdin working to win the heart of Princess Jasmine while Jafar hatches a sinister plan to bring Agrabah to its knees. Being the JR. version, it's a shorter, tighter take on the original, keeping the core of the story and the songs without the full-length runtime.
