The Bluetones play their debut album 'Expecting To Fly' in full on their 30th anniversary tour, with all four original members.
The Bluetones play Cambridge Junction on Friday 23 October, as part of their Expecting To Fly 30th Anniversary Tour. The whole show is built around that debut album, which they'll be playing in full — so if you've got a soft spot for the record, you'll hear it from start to finish rather than just a few highlights mixed in with later stuff.
It's a platinum-selling record that hit Number 1 in the UK, knocking Oasis' What's The Story (Morning Glory) off the top spot for a week. Its biggest hit, 'Slight Return', reached Number 2. Since then, the band have put out three Top 10 albums and 13 Top 40 singles, and they've spent three decades building a reputation as one of the UK's most consistently entertaining live acts.
One of the rarer things about them these days is that all four original members are still there: Mark Morriss on vocals, Adam Devlin on guitar, Eds Chesters on drums and Scott Morriss on bass. They're taking Expecting To Fly in full around the UK throughout October and November 2026, with the Cambridge date falling on the 23rd.

Doors open at 7:00pm at Cambridge Junction, with the show in J1, which is standing. Tickets are £32 in advance. The full support line-up is still to be announced, so there'll be more to the night than just the main set.
