Stand-up show by Australian comedian Sam Campbell, winner of the Edinburgh Comedy Festival main prize, in his 'Kid Giblet' tour.
Sam Campbell brings his show Kid Giblet to the Cambridge Corn Exchange on Thursday 29 October, starting at 19:30. He's an Australian stand-up comedian and actor who's picked up some serious hardware along the way: he won The Barry award at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and the main prize at the Edinburgh Comedy Festival, so he's not exactly a newcomer to the circuit.
Kid Giblet is built around his love of live comedy and local traditions. He jokes that he's been on television more than five times and that he's bought a large metal ring to hold all the keys to the cities he's impressed with his showmanship. Throughout the set, he champions going out to see live comedy over staring at an 'evil phone screen' in a 'horrid grey dank little corner'—a bit of a dig at the very habits that keep most of us from leaving the house on a weeknight.

It's a solo show, so it's just Campbell on stage for the full set. If you're planning to go, keep in mind that the Cambridge date is sold out, and latecomers may not be admitted, so it's worth getting there a bit early rather than cutting it fine. Tickets are £30.50, which includes the booking fee.
