Free monthly storytelling and sensory craft session for families with children aged 1-5 at the Museum of Cambridge.
Little Feet, Big Impressions is back at the Museum of Cambridge on Wednesday 3 March, part of a monthly storytelling and sensory craft programme for families with children aged 1 to 5. It's a free session, though you'll need to book your place in advance.
Each session starts in the Enid Porter Room, the museum's purpose-built event space, where families are welcomed with complimentary tea and coffee. From there, you head into the museum's 16th-century building to explore the objects on display, guided by storytelling that brings the collections to life. Once you've had your look, you head back to the Enid Porter Room for a sensory activity linked to the story you've just heard.
Every week we pick 🏆 the 5 best 🏆 things to do in Cambridge and send them to your inbox. Just one weekly email, no spam.

The museum sits right in the heart of the city, beside Kettle's Yard and about a 15-minute walk from King's College, so it's an easy one to get to if you're already central. The session runs from 10:30 to 12:00, ninety minutes in total, and it's free, provided you book ahead. The next one is Wednesday 3 March at the Museum of Cambridge, 2-3 Castle St, CB3 0AQ.
