Bach to Baby brings live festive music, seasonal favourites and carols to babies, toddlers and their carers at Downing Place URC.
Bach to Baby is back in Cambridge on Saturday 21 November, with their Christmas Family Concert at Downing Place URC. It's part of their wider series of classical concerts for babies, toddlers and their carers, which they run across the UK.
The programme pairs live music from outstanding musicians with festive frolics, jazzy twists on seasonal favourites and sing-along carols. The repertoire varies by location, so this one will have its own particular mix of Christmas classics and new arrangements. It's designed for the very young to be in the room, so it's a case of letting them listen and move as they like rather than expecting them to sit still.
Downing Place URC is right in the heart of the city, near Parker's Piece and the centre, so it's an easy walk from most directions. The building is a 19th-century church that reopened in 2021 after a renovation, and it's wheelchair accessible.

The concert starts at 11:30am, with doors open half an hour before, and it runs for about 45 minutes — short enough to fit into a morning without pushing too far into nap time. It's at Downing Place URC, 4 Downing Place, Cambridge, CB2 3EL.
