Huey Morgan, founder of The Fun Lovin' Criminals, plays the songs he wrote and produced on his 30th-anniversary UK tour at the Cambridge Junction.
Huey Morgan plays Cambridge Junction on Tuesday 27 October, part of a UK tour marking 30 years since Come Find Yourself came out in 1996. Morgan founded The Fun Lovin' Criminals and wrote and produced the band's seminal hits, and this tour sees him return to the songs he wrote and produced, accompanied by a newly formed band.
Come Find Yourself was the group's debut, and it cut through the Britpop scene with a genre-hopping sound that fused rock 'n' roll, funk, blues, soul, hip hop, jazz and Latin rhythms. Its breakout single, 'Scooby Snacks', became a cult classic, sampling dialogue from Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction. The Criminals went on to tour with U2 and the late B.B. King, and played Glastonbury's Pyramid Stage in 1999. Morgan himself has stayed active as a broadcaster and cultural commentator, hosting weekends on Virgin Radio and writing as an author.

Alongside the anniversary material, there's a brand-new album to go with the tour, so the set will pull from both the early records and the new songs. The show is presented by Crosstown Concerts in the Junction's J1, which is a standing-room-only space. Doors open at 19:00, and tickets are £36.78.
