Cardinal Black, the Welsh-born alt-rock trio from Cardiff, headline their biggest tour to date with their new album 'Second Sign of Life'.
Cardinal Black play Cambridge Junction on Thursday 15 April, as part of what they're calling their biggest headline tour to date. They're taking their new album, Second Sign of Life, across the UK, Ireland, Europe and North America, so this is one of the dates that brings the record to Cambridge.
Second Sign of Life came out on 29 January on Thirty Tigers, and the band did the heavy lifting themselves on this one: they produced and engineered it at Clouds Hill Studio in Hamburg. It's the record they're touring behind, so it'll be the main thing on the set. If you've had it on repeat since January, this is the chance to hear it live.
For a bit of context, Cardinal Black are a Welsh-born alt-rock trio from Cardiff. They've been playing to sold-out rooms at London's Shepherd's Bush Empire, New York's Gramercy Theatre and Los Angeles' Troubadour, and they did a standout appearance at the Royal Albert Hall with Peter Frampton. This tour is a step up from that, taking them across several continents.
