Halloween edition of Big Fish, Little Fish, the family rave for children aged eight and under, with house and rave music, crafts, a snow machine and a parachute dance.
Big Fish, Little Fish are back at Cambridge Junction on Sunday 1 November for their Halloween special, a spooky spectacular that runs from 2:00pm to 4:00pm. It's their eighth time at the venue, so they're well-acquainted with the space by now.
If you've never come across them, the whole thing is a family rave built around the idea of 'family fun for the post-rave generation of parents', helping them 'be responsibly irresponsible' since 2013. The formula is simple: they pair grown-up tunes — House and rave classics through to Drum and Bass — with a full floor of children's distractions. There are themed crafts, a snow machine, giant balloons, glitter cannons, a bubble machine, club lighting with no strobes, a giant mural, and the BFLF famous parachute dance. It's a rave for the little ones, with the music we actually like playing in the background.

Fancy dress is optional but encouraged, and the session is aimed at younger children, aged eight and under, though older siblings are welcome. Adults are admitted only if accompanied by a child, so it's definitely a family outing rather than a night out in your own right. It's a standing event in J1 at Cambridge Junction, Clifton Way, CB1 7GX. Tickets are £13 for adults and £11 for children.
