Monthly over-18s indie rock night at Cambridge Junction with classics from Arctic Monkeys, Blur, Oasis and more.
Indie Fridays is back at Cambridge Junction on Friday 16 October, running from 11:30pm until 3:00am. It's a monthly indie rock night, and the organisers bill it as the biggest indie night to hit Cambridge.
The floor fills with classic indie rock and indie rock n' roll, and the song list is a broad one. It runs from Arctic Monkeys, Oasis and Blur to The White Stripes, The Libertines, The Strokes and The Vaccines. From there it reaches further back and across: Biffy Clyro, Kasabian, The 1975, The Stone Roses, The Smiths, Pulp, The Clash, The Cribs, Foals, Fontaines D.C, Gorillaz, The Killers, The Streets, Nirvana and The Wombats are all among the names the night leans on. It's a long list, and it covers a fair bit of ground, so you're likely to hear a good mix of the big names and the deeper cuts.
