Stand-up comedy show Peach Fuzz by Ania Magliano, fresh from Taskmaster, at Bristol Old Vic.
Ania Magliano brings her new stand-up show, Peach Fuzz, to the Bristol Old Vic on Sunday 15 November. She's fresh from starring in the latest series of Taskmaster, and this is a new hour full of jokes, confessions and the kind of slightly unhinged observations she's known for. The material comes from the quirks of her own body, the legend of Eve and her newly discovered boundaries.
If you haven't come across her yet, Magliano has been working across a fair few different corners of comedy. She's appeared on Live At The Apollo and was nominated for Best Show at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards. She's opened for Ed Gamble, Marc Maron and Catherine Cohen, and writes for Amelia Dimoldenberg's Chicken Shop Date. On the TV side, she's written for Frankie Boyle's New World Order on BBC2 and is part of the regular cast of Saturday Night Live UK. Earlier on, she was a finalist in the 2020 Funny Women Awards and the 2019 2Northdown New Act Competition. Critics have called her a gift for observational comedy, and she's a regular on the podcast circuit, too — though her choices on Off Menu are widely regarded as the worst of all time.
