A unique opportunity to practice gentle Vajrasati Yoga at the iconic Rottingdean Terraces, led by experienced instructor Ocean.
Ocean is leading yoga sessions at Rottingdean Terraces on Saturday mornings, starting 11 July and running through to 26 September 2026. Each class is from 10:00 to 11:00, so it's a proper morning slot that leaves the rest of your Saturday open.
Ocean teaches Vajrasati Yoga, a style she describes as cheerful, accessible, and adaptable to each person's needs. The sessions can be restorative or dynamic depending on what you're after on the day, and they run either out in the open or under cover, so the weather won't put a stop to them. Ocean herself has over 26 years of yoga practice behind her and has been teaching Vajrasati since 2013. She's picked the terraces as one of her favourite spots to hold these, and people who've been tend to talk about them as a calm point and a highlight of their week.
It's a bit of a trek out to the east end of the city, but the location is part of the draw. The terraces are on Marine Drive in Rottingdean, BN2 7HY, right by the water. If you're coming from central Brighton, it's a good excuse to get out towards the coast for the morning.

Since it's outdoors, you'll need to bring a few things with you: a yoga mat — one that handles the elements is best — a blanket or a bath towel to keep you warm, some water, and comfortable clothes. The classes are free, and they run every Saturday from 11 July until 26 September, 10:00 to 11:00 at Rottingdean Terraces.
