The 35th anniversary of Brighton Pride featuring a community parade and the 'Pride in the Park' festival with headliners RAYE and Diana Ross.
Brighton Pride is returning this summer, marking its 35th anniversary with a weekend of events scheduled for the 1st and 2nd of August 2026. The city will host the annual community parade, which travels through the streets to kick off the weekend under the theme 'The Power Of Love'. As usual, the parade itself is free for anyone to watch along the route.

The main festival, known as 'Pride in the Park', takes place at Preston Park. While the parade is open to the public, access to the festival grounds requires a ticket. Although official pricing hasn't been confirmed, estimates suggest tickets may range between £58 and £64 for a single day, with weekend passes potentially costing around £89. It is worth keeping an eye on official channels for the final ticket release.
This year's lineup features a mix of performers across the two days. RAYE is scheduled to headline on Saturday, August 1st, followed by Diana Ross on Sunday, August 2nd. The musical programme also includes appearances by Jessie J, Self Esteem, the group Five, Paris Hilton, Peaches, Leigh-Anne, G-Flip, and a DJ set from Mel C. For those interested in the dance music side of the event, the 'Dance Arena' will feature sets from Purple Disco Machine on Saturday and Armand Van Helden on Sunday. Additionally, RuPaul is confirmed to perform an exclusive DJ set.
The event remains an inclusive space aimed at both the LGBTQ+ community and the general public. Whether you are planning to catch the parade in the city centre or head to Preston Park for the performances, the weekend follows the established format of previous years, balancing community celebration with a large-scale music festival.
