A painting workshop where participants create a Christmas robin artwork.
The Paint Club is hosting a Christmas robin painting workshop at The Railway Inn on Wednesday 16 December, from 19:00 to 21:00. It's a two-hour session, so you'll have a full evening to work through it rather than rushing a painting in an hour.
The whole thing is built around one image: a Christmas robin. You'll be guided through painting it from start to finish, so it's the kind of thing you can turn up to without any prior experience and still leave with something you're happy to keep. If you've never picked up a brush before, that's fine — the session is set up to take you through it step by step.
It's a mid-week evening, which makes it a decent way to break up the run-up to the holidays. You'll be painting alongside other people in the room, so it's as much about the company as it is about the painting. By the time the two hours are up, you'll have your own finished robin to take home, and you'll have spent a couple of hours doing something a bit different from the usual December rush.
